The World Health Organization estimates more than 800,000 people take their own lives each year, and suicide remains the second leading cause of death among 15-29 year olds. Earlier this year, I was invited on the podcast “Our Deepest Secrets Revealed” to discuss how perfection is killing people by suicide. I would like to shed light on this global epidemic.

What if we can change this epidemic? What if there is always another possibility?
I discuss this further on the following two television interviews.
As part of suicide awareness week this past September, I shared my story on KTLA Los Angeles. Within this interview, I spoke about some of the tools that allowed me to choose beyond the point of suicide.
I also spoke on KTVU Vancouver as well. What if we could remove the judgement and stigma around talking about depression and suicide, and have a completely different possibility?
My hope is that if you’ve ever had thoughts of suicide — or if you know someone who has — the tools mentioned in this interview can assist in some way.
I also referred to the Access Consciousness Bars in this interview, and how they completely changed my life. If you’d like to learn more, please visit here for more information.
No matter what has occurred in your life, you have the power to change it. I wish someone would have been there to tell me this all those years ago. That’s why I’m here sharing this with you now.
Your life is a choice you can make.
Please, make that choice.
Make the choice to wake up in the morning and ask questions.
Make the choice to stop judging and trying to fix you.
Make the choice to talk to someone who is kind and let them into your world.
Make the choice to never give up, to never give in, and to never quit.
If you do, something totally different (and maybe even miraculous) is possible. Starting now.
With so much gratitude for you,
