What awareness does your body have?
Have you asked it? Are you listening?
Many of us have lost the awareness of our body that we were born with… but that doesn’t mean you can’t rediscover it! When it comes to things like aches and pains, you can ask your body what it requires…
Instead of restricting your food intake, you can ask your body:
Body, what would you like to eat? Body, what do you require today?
And some additional questions you can ask include…
Body, what would you like to drink?
Body, what type of movement would you like?
Body, what would you like to wear today?
Then simply listen, and allow it to show up! You don’t need to judge your body for the answers it provides. The more you tune into this knowing, the more ease you can create for your body.
Instead of living life on autopilot, or following the rules you think you “should” follow, what if you allowed your body to tell you what it would like? What if your body already has an awareness about what it needs in order to thrive?
